Stupid Snow

The city of Cincinnati has a variety of different climates and temperatures. The most recent weather activity is the sheets of ice and what seemed like never-ending snow we accumulated last week. When I was younger, I used to love snow days because we never had school...and we always used to go sled riding at my grade school. However, now I don't like snow days quite as much because I'm an adult and I have other responsibilities. We were off school Tuesday and Wednesday last week, but I still had to go to work in the dreadful weather. I was not happy to go into work either day, especially when my tires were almost completely bald and don't work very well in the snow or ice. My parents were not happy that I still went to work, but I can't call off when I have to pay my bills. Looking back, I probably should've put my safety first, but nothing happened so its ok! I recently purchased new tires for my car, so now I feel very safe driving in the snow.
